Taiwanese smartphone giant, Asus is back in the news with its rumoured Asus ZenFone 8 series. Key specs of the new smartphone series have been leaked online on Twitter with the help of two tipsters. Based, on the tweets of the two tipsters, the Asus Zenfone 8 series contains two smartphones same as the Asus Zenfone 7 series. As per the rumours, the rumoured Asus Zenfone 8 smartphone series is believed to be the successor of the Asus Zenfone 7 series smartphones.

Asus ZenFone 8 series tipped specs

Based on the tweets of RealMEIZU and Abhishek Yadav, one of the phone models which is believed to be the ZenFone 8 has been given the codename SAKE with the model number ZS590KS. This phone is tipped to have a 5.9-inch Full HD+ display which will support a refresh rate of 120Hz. This phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC processor. As per the tipsters, the phone may have two camera sensors which are the Sony IMX686 (64-megapixel) and the Sony IMX663 (unknown megapixel).

Along with the above-mentioned phone, there is another model number(ZS673KS) mentioned by the tipsters’ which is believed to be of the ZenFone 8 Pro. This phone is also tipped to have a Full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The phone may be also powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC processor. The phone may feature a 24-megapixel OV24B1Q sensor and a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686, an OM13855, and an OV8856 sensors at the rear.

The tipsters’ also tweeted about two other phones having the codenames Picasso (Model number- ZS675KW) and Vodka. The Picasso model consists of a 24-megapixel OV24B1Q front camera and a 64-megapixel Sony IM686 sensor, a Sony IMX363 sensor, and an OV08A sensor at the rear and as for the Vodka model, the only thing we know that it is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC processor. There is no official announcement on behalf of the company about any of these above-mentioned phones. So, it could be said that there is no confirmation whether the Picasso and Vodka models belong to the ZenFone 8 series or is a totally separate series.
