Xiaomi is all set to launch its new flagship phone, the Mi 11 globally. The company is now gearing up for the phones global debut on February 8. The phone comes with a triple rear camera setup and also is the first phone to debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC processor. The phone comes in five colour variations which are further divided under two categories- Anti-glare frosted glass and Vegan leather. Based on a tip shared by a tipster, the phone could be priced much higher in Europe than in China where the phone has already been launched last month.

The phone is available in three storage variations. The base model which is the 8GB + 128 GB is marked at CNY 3,999 (₹45,300 approx.), the 8GB + 256GB is marked at CNY 4,299 (₹48,700 approx.) and the 12GB + 256GB is marked at CNY 4,699 (₹53,200 approx.) in China.

Based on a tip by a tipster, who shared the phone’s pricing for Europe ahead of its global launch. The base model of the phone which is the 8GB + 128GB storage variant is expected to be marked at EUR 799 (₹69,800 approx.) and for the 8GB + 256GB storage variant the phone is expected to be marked at EUR 899 (₹78,500 approx.). Till now, no news about the pricing of the 12GB + 256GB storage variant model is heard of for Europe.

As already mentioned earlier, the phone is available in five colour variations which are further separated under two main categories- Anti-glare frosted glass: Midnight Gray/ Horizon Blue/ Frost White and Vegan leather: Lilac Purple/ Honey Beige.

The phone has a 6.81-inch 2K WQHD (1,440×3,200 pixels) AMOLED display with 1500 nits of peak brightness, 5000000:1 contrast ratio, and 515ppi of pixel density. The display also has a 120Hz refresh rate which can scale down to 30Hz. The phone also comes with 480Hz of touch sampling. The phone’s display offers DCI-P3 colour gamut as well as supports HDR10+ and Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMC). The phone comes with Android 10 and MIUI 12 right-out-of-the-box. Xiaomi claims that the phone has achieved the A+ rating from screen analysis firm DisplayMate. For protection, the display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
As for the processor, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and paired up with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
For the rear camera, the phone comes with a triple rear camera setup which comprises of a 108-megapixel primary sensor with a pixel size of 1.6 microns, along with an f/1.85 lens and optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle lens that has a field-of-view (FoV) of 123 degrees and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens that has a focal length equivalent to 50 millimetres. The rear camera setup is designed to record 8K videos.
For the selfie camera, the phone has punch-hole camera design on the display which comprises of a 20-megapixels sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
The phone provides dual-SIM (Nano) support and offers up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. As for connectivity, the phone supports 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor which also works as a heart rate monitor. It also has stereo speakers from Harman Kardon.
The phone has a battery capacity of 4,600mAh which supports Mi TurboCharge 55W wired and 50W wireless charging. The phone also supports 10W wireless reverse charging.
