Honor Play 5T Pro Launched: Price & Specifications

Chinese Smartphone giant, Honor is back with a recent new launch, the Honor Play 5T Pro. The phone features a dual-rear camera setup and a punch-hole styled cut out camera on the display. The phone has the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC under the hood and also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is available in a single RAM and storage variant. The phone also comes in two colour variants.

As mentioned earlier, the Honour Play 5T Pro is available in a single RAM and storage variant- 8GB RAM + 128GB, which is marked at CNY 1,499 (₹17,183 approx.). Currently, the phone is only available in China and is up for sale from August 11 on the HiHonor online site. Till now, there has been no announcement from the company regarding the phone’s global launch.

As said earlier, the phone is available in two colour options- Titanium Silver and Magic Night Black.

Honor Play 5T Pro Specs

The Honor Play 5T Pro features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ TFT LCD display with a display resolution of 1,080×2,400 pixels. The phone runs on Android 10 and Honor’s very own Magic UI 4.0 software right out of the box. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC Processor paired with 8GB of RAM along with an internal storage of 128GB. As mentioned earlier, the phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes with a battery capacity of 4,000mAh that has 22.5W fast charging support.

In terms of optics, the phone comes with a dual-rear camera setup which comprises a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. As for the selfies and video calls, the phone features a 16-megapixel punch-hole styled cut out sensor on the display with an f/2.0 aperture.

As for the connectivity, the phone features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port. In terms of the sensors, the phone features an ambient light sensor, and gravity sensor, and compass. The company claims that the phone can be charged up to 53 per cent in just 30 minutes.
