HMD Global has launched a new budget-friendly smartphone for the Indian market, the Nokia G20. The phone is available in a single RAM and storage variant. The phone features a quad rear camera setup and a notched selfie camera on the display. The G20 will be powered by an octa-core SoC processor. The company claims that the budget phone can run for up to three days on a single full charge. The phone is also available in two colour variants.

The budget-friendly Nokia G20 is available in a single RAM and storage variant that is 4GB RAM + 64GB. The 4GB + 64GB phone is marked at ₹12,999. The pre-booking is scheduled to start from July 7 at 12pm (noon) and the phone will be available for sale from July 15 via the Nokia India website and Amazon India website.
As mentioned earlier, the phone will be available in two colour variants- Night and Glacier.
Nokia G20 Specifications
The Nokia G20 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone will run on Android 11 right out of the box (the company has promised that the phone will receive two years of updates). The G20 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC processor that will be backed up by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. The phone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a side-mounted dedicated Google Assistant button. The phone is also IPX2 certified. The phone has a 5,050mAh battery that has 10W charging support.
In terms of the camera, the phone has a quad-rear camera setup that comprises a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In the front, the phone has a notched styled 8-megapixel selfie sensor.
The phone has dual nano-SIM support. As for the connectivity, the phone features 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, NFC, GPS, 3.5mmm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for charging. As for the sensors, the phone has an ambient light sensor, accelerometer (g-sensor), proximity sensor, and gyroscope. The dimensions of the G20 are 164.9×76.0x9.2mm and it weighs 197 grams.
